Description

THE VACON® 20 offers fast installation and configuration thanks to its easily accessible terminals, integral DIN rail mounting and a parameter copy tool that allows cloning the configuration without the need for a mains power supply. The listed parameters are fully modifiable, allowing the creation of application-specific parameter sets and presets. In addition, its PLC functionality allows custom control logic to be incorporated into the unit, utilizing additional I/O options for machine-related tasks.
For a simple and cost-effective control interface, the VACON® 20 has a built-in RS-485 interface. And through the use of optional modules, this device can be connected to a wide variety of RS-485 or Ethernet-based fieldbus systems, such as Profibus DP, CANOpen, DeviceNet, Profinet I/O, EtherCAT, Modbus TCP/IP and Ethernet IP.
Available in a variety of voltages and with a wide power range, the VACON® 20 is highly versatile and optimizes performance in diverse applications such as vertical motion, packaging, material handling and flow control in a variety of process industries around the world.
