The VACON® 100 INDUSTRIAL offers a wide variety of functionalities and is designed for applications requiring constant power/torque control. The motor controls are robust and easy to use, improving the reliability and performance of various types of AC motors, including induction, permanent-magnet and reluctance synchronous motors.
This device is equipped with built-in RS485 and Ethernet interfaces that are compatible with most industrial protocols, facilitating its integration into various control systems. In addition, it has an integrated PLC function that allows new functionalities to be implemented in the frequency converter.
In terms of safety, the VACON® 100 INDUSTRIAL offers enhanced functional protection thanks to its STO safety stop function, which prevents torque generation on the motor shaft. It also features a Class 1 safety stop and is certified with thermal protection on the motor according to ATEX regulations.
Finally, the converter modules designed for wall mounting are simple to install and commission, and the frequency converters with protection come with a wide range of integrated options.
